Weekends with W

Went for W's Family Day yesterday to see the ship he's gonna be sailing on. Remembered to bring my camera, but forgot that pictures weren't allowed!

Lucky thing they had polaroids taken for us at the end of the tour! (:

I saw the bed he's gonna be sleeping on for 4 months, and it looks like the sleeper train we took in Vietnam:

I remembered I was so claustrophobic when I stepped in... And it was only for an overnight train ride. I think I will just die if I this were the only space I had to myself for 4 months!! Poor W :(

After the boat tour, we stopped by the Naval Museum. I commented that no one would ever make a museum for auditors, and W roared with laughter. He's always enjoyed poking fun at my job anyways, calling it a "dead-end" job, perhaps aided by my non-too-infrequent complaints about my work.. The only rejoinder I have whenever he makes fun of my job is that most of my uni mates are in it too, as if that somehow makes it better! Yeah I know, who grows up wanting to be an auditor right? Well, unlike W, not everyone gets to fulfil their childhood ambition when they grow up.

Anyways! Cause we were in Changi already, we decided to pop by The Coastal Settlement!

On the long stretch of road where we could see airplanes taking off beside us.

Forcing W to take a picture with the sign (:

My turn!

The interior.

We had really nice seats although we didn't make reservations! Right beside a cream Vespa (:

My order - toasties! Huge portion which can be shared by 2 actually! Really enjoyed this simple ham & cheese sarnie and don't mind going back again for this!

And look what we spotted in the garden outside! The whole time I was trying to take a picture of this, W was right beside me whispering in my ear "This place is haunted, I'm surprised you're not afraid and instead gushing over how cute this caterpillar is" yada yada yada..

And today
- did hair treatment at Essensuals using the Groupon Chris & I bought
- had dim sum at Victor's Kitchen (horrid experience, striking this place off my list now)
- stopped by Campus since we were in the area and W loves browsing in the store although he almost always emerges empty handed

and saw this outside the store!

So cool, and kinda reminds me of the cardboard furniture that had everyone talking at one point.

And that's all! After which I went for my underarm ipl (best investment ever!) followed by our usual routine, running at west coast park and grocery shopping after! Love laid-back Sundays like this.

Oh and one more.

Check out my new phone wallpaper!

A sneak from our 4th anniversary photoshoot with Amanda & Audrey last Saturday! Can't wait to see the rest of the photos! (:
